REAL-LIFE RESULTS

What is Microchanneling Procell Treatment?
Microchanneling ProCell treatment is a non-invasive procedure that has been developed and designed to minimize the signs of aging through the creation of hundreds of thousands of microchannels on the skin’s surface in conjunction with a specially formulated serum. These microchannels will naturally stimulate the body’s ability to produce collagen and elastin, as well as other types of cells that form the foundation of healthy, youthful-looking skin, with the serum assisting by speeding up the collagen production. As these microchannels are created only on the outermost layers of the patient’s skin, they don’t penetrate into any living tissue, which provides the benefit of increased cell production without the risk of damage to the deeper, living tissues. The collagen and elastin are produced as part of the inflammatory healing process that the microchannels are designed to kickstart. As the skin repeatedly heals itself using the collagen and elastin, the texture of the skin’s surface and the overall appearance of the skin will improve, minimizing wrinkles, fine lines and other imperfections. The serum is applied to the treated area immediately after the microchanneling treatment is completed so that it can enhance the collagen growth.
How does Microchanneling ProCell work?
Microchanneling ProCell treatments work by stimulating the body’s own natural healing process in order to smooth out skin and reduce the signs of aging. Microchannels are created on the skin’s outermost layer, just deep enough to kickstart the body’s production of collagen and elastin to heal the skin, but not so deep as to damage any of the deeper layers of living tissue. A serum is applied to the skin’s surface immediately following the microchanneling procedure that aids and speeds up the production of collagen. The production of collagen naturally declines once we hit 30, causing our skin to start forming fine lines and wrinkles, losing its elasticity and causing it to appear dull and sagging in some areas. As the skin rejuvenates itself through the natural healing process, the increased collagen and elastin production will restore the elasticity in the skin and smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and imperfections. Microchanneling can also help minimize the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, rosacea and hyperpigmentation. Overall, the skin’s texture will be smoother and have a healthy glow, giving the patient a fresh, youthful complexion.
How often should you do Microchanneling?
Microchanneling patients often only need a few initial treatments to get the results they are trying to achieve, depending on the severity of the condition they are treating. For early signs of aging, people can get away with one or two sessions, whereas more advanced conditions such as acne scars may require four to six sessions. Once these initial sessions are completed, patients can choose to follow up with maintenance sessions down the road, but the treatment is only intended to be used when needed, not as a continuous procedure. Patients will need to allow for adequate healing time of the skin between sessions, which will also give them time to see their initial results from the treatment. The serums used after the microchanneling procedure will continue to enhance the results from the treatment by providing the skin with the necessary growth factors between treatments.
