HYDRAFACIAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
Why is HydraFacial good for my skin?
Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. HydraFacial is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment.
How does a HydraFacial treatment work?
The treatment first floods your skin with compounds that aid in cleaning and exfoliating your skin, and then enriches it with hyaluronic acid, an ultra-hydrating antioxidant. Hyaluronic acid is already present in your skin, but decreases with age and sun, wind, and other environmental damage.
Am I a candidate for HydraFacial treatment and what conditions it can improve?
The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.
Below are some of the conditions it can improve:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sagging skin that has lost its elasticity
- Uneven skin tone
- Uneven skin texture from sun damage or acne
- Brown spots
- Oily skin
- Enlarged pores
How long does the treatment take? Is there any downtime or pain involved?
Our goal is to help support you in a balanced lifestyle. That’s why HydraFacial is a fast, efficient treatment. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

GLO2FACIAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Glo2Facial Overview
This treatment integrates a state of the art 3 in 1 treatment method: incorporating manual exfoliation, infusion therapy and oxygenation to increase blood flow to the skin which allows for deeper absorption of nutrients. The non-invasive Oxygeneo facial is a highly effective corrective treatment with minimal downtime, which yields faster recovery.
What Glo2Facial does
The Glo2Facial is a handheld device that effectively removes dead skin cells, while hydrating and oxygenating the skin. This device consists of 2 handpieces: one attachment exfoliates the skin and activates a rejuvenation serum, and another ultrasound/RF attachment helps serums to penetrate deeper into the dermal layer of the skin. This treatment triggers the body's natural process of the 'Bohr effect,' which prompts the skin to oxygenate naturally from within. This treatment essentially grants you the exfoliation benefits of microdermabrasion, plus deep facial rejuvenation. With the infusion of essential revitalizing nutrients and healing oxygenation that works from the inside out, the Glo2Facial utilizes natural oxygen from within our own bodies, resulting in an effective treatment and immediate results.
How to prepare for Glo2Facial
Discontinue all retinol, retinoids and topical prescriptions 7 days prior to treatment. Avoid sun exposure or sun tan 14 days prior to treatment.
What to expect during Glo2Facial
The Glo2Facial device gently glides across the skin causing a reaction that produces CO2 bubbles, thus oxygenating the skin for optimal cell renewal. The outer layer of skin is exfoliated to remove dead skin cells and clear pores of dirt, oil, and debris, all while being infused with nourishing serums. By combining the oxygenation and exfoliation processes, this allows for more effective absorption of skin care products during treatment. In turn, patients can see optimal improvement to the skin in as little as 1 treatment and even help prevent future skin concerns and blemishes. Clinical Studies report, the Glow2Facial is the only device on the market offering the unique combination of advanced technologies such as tripollar RF, Glo2Facial and Ultrasound, that harmoniously work effectively treat both the outer and inner layers of the skin.
The results of the Glo2Facial facial can be seen right away: skin exhibits a smoother and more even-toned complexion. Improvements over time should continue with consistency of treatment, as new skin regenerates.

MICRONEEDLING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) allows for a controlled process of the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating micro “injuries” in the skin, which trigger new collagen production. Microneedling is utilized to treat the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, minor trauma scars, hypo/hyperpigmentation, and improve the skin’s overall appearance. To enhance results, microneedling may be combined with the use of PRP, topical gels, creams, and/or serums to further aid in the overall appearance of the skin.
How long does an appointment for Microneedling take?
Microneedling treatment can take an hour-and-a-half or more to complete. The exact time depends on the area that is being treated. This timeframe includes an additional 30 minutes for topical numbing to be applied before treatment.
How is Microneedling administered?
Microneedling procedures are performed in a safe and precise manner with the use of a sterile micropen needle head and handheld micropen skin needling system. The micropen is gently pressed into the skin and glides across its surface to induce new collagen and elastin.
Does Microneedling hurt?
While microneedling can sound rather daunting, the needles that we use during the procedure are microscopic. The treatment can cause discomfort and has been said to feel like a vibrating cat's tongue. Areas with deeper imperfections may cause more discomfort than areas with superficial imperfections. We ensure that our patients are comfortable throughout the entire procedure. A topical numbing agent is applied 30 minutes before Microneedling to aid any discomfort during the procedure.
When will I begin to see results from my microneedling treatment?
Generally, patients notice tightening and a more even tone to their skin, a week or two after their first session. For areas with deeper imperfections, results can be subtler, and additional treatments are usually required. Since Microneedling stimulates new collagen and elastin production, these results will continue to build for up to 6 months.
How long do the results from Microneedling last?
It is important to realize that we cannot stop the aging process; we can only slow it down. With this in mind, results are not considered permanent, as natural degradation will occur over time. Improvements from microneedling can be seen for several years after treatment, and results can be prolonged with the correct at-home skincare maintenance.
What areas can I treat with Microneedling?
Microneedling can essentially be used on any part of the body. The most popular areas to treat are the face, neck, and chest. Microneedling can also be effective on most types of scarring and stretch marks.
Is there any downtime after a Microneedling session?
There is technically no downtime required after Microneedling. After your treatment, your skin may be red. This is normal and to be expected. Redness usually lasts from one to 24 hours. You may also have a little swelling in some areas. A few days after your treatment, your skin may become dry. Some patients go straight back to work, while others prefer to schedule their treatment over the weekend.
Are there any side effects or possible risks to Microneedling?
Microneedling is considered a safe treatment for all skin types. The side effects associated with microneedling are temporary swelling and redness.
Who is NOT a candidate for Microneedling?
During your consultation, an assessment will be made to ensure that you are a candidate for Microneedling. Microneedling may not be safe for those with certain health issues.

VI PEEL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
.What is a VI Peel?
A VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel that uses a blend of active ingredients to address various skin concerns, including acne scars, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and fine lines. It's a non-invasive treatment that works by gently exfoliating the skin's outer layers and stimulating collagen production, resulting in smoother, more even-toned skin.
How does the VI Peel work?
The VI Peel works by penetrating the skin's surface and stimulating collagen production, which helps to improve the skin's texture and promote a more youthful appearance. The combination of acids in the peel helps to exfoliate the outer layer of dead skin cells and promote the growth of new, healthier skin cells.
What are the benefits of a VI Peel?
The VI Peel offers several benefits, including:
- Improvement in skin tone and texture
- Reduction in the appearance of acne and acne scars
- Diminishment of fine lines and wrinkles
- Fade dark spots, melasma, and hyperpigmentation
- Enhance overall skin radiance
- Minimize the appearance of pores
Is the VI Peel suitable for all skin types?
The VI Peel is formulated to be safe and effective for all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, it is always recommended to consult with a skincare professional before undergoing a VI Peel to determine if it is suitable for your specific skin concerns and condition.
What can I expect during a VI Peel treatment?
During a VI Peel treatment, the skin will be cleansed, and the peel solution will be applied to the face or other treated areas. The peel may cause a warm or tingling sensation, but it is generally well-tolerated. After the peel is applied, it will be left on the skin for a specific amount of time, depending on the individual's skin type and desired results. The peel is then neutralized and removed.
What is the downtime and recovery after a VI Peel?
The downtime and recovery period after a VI Peel can vary depending on the individual and the depth of the peel. Generally, there is little to no downtime, and most individuals can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, some individuals may experience mild redness, peeling, and flaking of the skin for a few days following the peel.
How many VI Peel treatments are needed?
The number of VI Peel treatments needed can vary depending on the individual's skin concerns and goals. For some individuals, a single peel may be sufficient to achieve the desired results. However, a series of peels spaced a few weeks apart may be recommended for more significant improvements. Maintenance treatments can also be done periodically to maintain the results.
It is important to consult with a qualified skincare professional who can assess your skin and provide personalized recommendations for VI Peel treatments. They can determine the appropriate peel strength, number of treatments, and post-peel care instructions to achieve optimal results while ensuring your safety and satisfaction.
